I thought the jihad was over
when the dinosaurs died.
May be extraterrestrials attacked,
or,
a volcano swept them under its warmth,
or,
that rock reminiscent of the beginning
hit them on the head .
Either way,they dropped
dead.
Even as I thought
That
was the last of the jihads:
an unimaginable humiliation,
Evolution continued
...
unperturbed.
It will take a couple of extinctions
till the jihad is over.
